My Most Mature Memory

I run track for Pacific Racers. Once you become a distance runner on my team, you are the best of the best. Once you go on “The Run,” you are even better. “The Run” is a 2.2 mile run that I around the neighborhood. You are not watched, so you have to be self-aware and responsible. You could be kidnapped and no one would know. It is creepy, but awesome. This is the time I went on “The Run.”
“The Run” or “The Loop” is a loop or a sideways “D”. It is along Franklin High Road, which is a “U”. This was a proud moment for me. Distance runners are the best of the best and becoming one is an honor, but with becoming a distance runner there is endurance training. I was transferring from mid-distance to long distance, 800m to 1500 and 1600m. This is doubling the distance I was running, which was hard to do. It was time to run “The Run.”
I was 9 years old at that time. I was young, immature, and naive. I had been on the track team for 6 months. Tasia King was one of the older girls who had been going on “The Run.” There was also Mia Terry and Simone Abdur-Rahim. There was also two boys. Their names were Jordan Lawrence and Marcellus Jones. The boys seemed cool, but the girls seemed crazy at the time. I soon realized they were all kind of crazy and weird. I liked that.
I was going to go on “The Run” and I did not know it. Coach said, “JT, follow these guys on the loop.” I questioned, “Where am I going?” “Just follow them and as soon as you know it,” Coach told me, “you will be back here.” I questioned again, “Really?” He said, “Just go.” So I followed them. Inside I was as excited as a child who was told he would get a lollypop. I did not know it was a 2 mile run. I was so tired and I asked them, “How much further?” They said, “We are only halfway there.” I exclaimed, “Oh no, I'm going to die!!!” We then started to talk and run. I saw new sights: a park, people, and a dog. I heard new sounds: cars rushing by. I felt new feelings: the air rushing through my hair and self-pride.
It was not that bad until the end. This is when they said, “You have to sprint in at the end and you have to stay behind us.” I agreed. They started sprinting and so did I. They were so much faster than me. I was tired as me at 11pm. I just started jogging, because there was no hope in catching up to them. At the end, I realized I just ran “The Run.” My friends asked me about it and if it was hard. They soon went on their first runs and we were all distance runners together. We all are distance runners to this day.

This impacted my life, because I had to experience something new, and it made me a better runner and better person. I was more responsible, because I was trusted to go on “The Run” first of all my friends. Some of them were older than me. I did something they didn’t do. It made me feel like a leader to the group. It was something I had and they didn’t have. To this very day, I am the leader to this troop of friends. They are my squad. I am like the Alfa wolf to the pack. This run helped me be the runner I am today.

About Me!

This last inspiring blog, maybe, will be the best.  I am listening to one of my Inspiralies and I am making this about me.  Let me start with something simple.  One time I stuck my wet, sucked baby fingers in a socket.  It was fun until my mom saw me and I started crying. I was crying very hard.  I was sad.  I don’t remember anything until the next day.  That next day I ate some apple sauce and I was happy again.  Anyway, the lesson is to never stick your fingers in a socket.  Even if you do you will be happy the next day.

Next is about last week.  I was living my life. Then I got an e-mail that my blog was being hacked.  I was so scared.  I end up saving everything and destroying the blog for 1 hour.  I then created it again and posted everything back.  I looked at the e-mail again. The thing was from my friend.  I was so mad at him, I hurt him peacefully.  That might have been pretty mean but he was mean first.  The lesson is to never befriend a person who hacks.  His name is Josh. :)
Last is a story about my friend's dog's dead squirrel.  There once was a squirrel.  He lived a happy peaceful life with a dog, a nice dog.  This dog was very nice to the squirrel.  The dog chased it but the squirrel was never scared.  Yesterday the squirrel died.  The dog was sad.  That is why you should never let a dog befriend a squirrel. R. I. P. Mr. Fripples!

Inspiration for You

The inspiration for today is three stories like normal. One is about a clown who is sad. Another is about a gorilla that lives in the jungle. The third is about two boys who fight a lot.

The first story is about a clown who is sad. There was a sad clown. He was sad because he could not make anyone laugh. He tried with kids, teens, and even adults, but no one laughed. One day when the clown was moping, a little girl walked up to him and asked, "Why are you sad?" The clown replied, "Because no one laughs at my jokes." The girl started laughing. The clown felt better. The lesson is that you always need a friend.

The next story is about a gorilla that lives in the jungle.  There was a lonely gorilla that lived in the jungle. Although he was lonely, he did not like any other gorilla. He scorned on his kind.  Yet the fact that he was a gorilla too, he reffused to admit it. He said he was a human one day and the next he was a flamingo. One day another gorilla gave him a mirror and he saw himself as a gorilla for the first time. The lesson is you don’t know what you are until you see yourself, so look at yourself often.

The final story is about two boys that fight very much. They were brothers. One was Hector and the other was Vector. Hector and Vector fight a lot as you know. They wrestle, box, and fight Kung Fu style. One day they were so tired they could not fight and made a truce. They lived the rest of their lives not fighting and staying truced.

The Words that Inspire

ONE KIND WORD

can change

someone's

entire day

That word is inspire. That is exactly what I am writing about, inspiration. So the inspiration today is about a princess who wanted a dragon, a dragon who wants to be free, and one little dwarf who is not appreciated. I am going medieval style today.

First, there was a princess who lived in the grandest castle ever. She had everything she could ever want except… a pet dragon. That was the only thing she ever wanted. She waited for the dragon to come for 3 years, but it never came. She finally asked the Queen for a dragon and the next day she got one. The lesson here is you just have to ask a question.

Second, story is about a dragon who wants to be free. The dragon is locked up in a dungeon 3 miles underground and cannot get out. He is very sad because the mean humans locked him up for no reason. He tried to escape many times but never succeeded. He tried one more time and it did not work. The lesson is to never try because you will fail or something like that.

Third story is about a dwarf that is not appreciated. There once was a sad dwarf who wasn’t appreciated. He tried to help people but he always messed things up. He was very clumsy. He messed things up so much that he was banned from the world. He was shot into space and was never seen again. The lesson here is to never be clumsy or you will be shot into space.
